About Us

Rotaract Kenya Peace Campaign (RKPC) is a peace community Program within Rotaract District 9212, and a leading activator of positive peacebuilding and conflict prevention in Kenya. It is a peace initiative that fosters peacebuilding, social integration & conflict transformation by bringing together people of all ages, tribes, and race regardless of their religious/political affiliations & social background from across the country and neighboring regions to choose peace, love & unity in their day to day life.

Our Mission

Humanitarian Work

• To offer support to marginalized groups in society that are at risk of violence or
persecution.
• To provide relief to those who have fled areas of conflict.
• To assist children who have been orphaned, injured or traumatized by conflict.
• To identify triggering or accelerating factors in the conflict & work to mitigate them.

Peace Building

  • • To initiate & promote a peace-promoting culture among communities.
    • To equip the youth with skills & knowledge on non-conflict methods of resolving disputes.
    • To sensitize the general public on the importance of maintaining peace in relation to
    leadership & good governance.

Conflict Resolution

  • Partnering with conflict prevention experts & organizations to train community leaders in
    strategies to prevent & mediate conflict.
    • Pursuing projects that address the underlying causes of conflict.
    • Using role-playing & sports to teach children & young adults in socially appropriate ways
    of dealing with conflict.

Rotaract peace campaign comprises of thematic and national working groups following respective topics, thereby providing an inclusive and open space for Rotaractors and young adults engagements to partake in multilateral peace building programs.
